Race car Logistics
Melbourne Performance Centre can provide vehicle logistics anywhere within Australia with our transport fleet which includes a fully furbished ex V8SC 40ft Titan race car transporter with Freightliner Argosy prime mover, or our Ford Louisville with full accommodation facilities.
Both vehicles are meticulously presented and are sure to impress your customers and sponsors.
Trackside Support
Melbourne Performance Centre can provide a full array of trackside support personnel from vehicle engineers through to tyre technicians. Our team has had exposure to all levels of motorsport not only within Australia but many with overseas category experience which will give you the best support you could require.
Fabrication and Vehicle Construction
Melbourne Performance Centre has a full fabrication facility to enable small fabrication through to full vehicle construction to take place within the one location. Most notable vehicle builds include the tarmac rally Torana and Monaro of Steve Coad, the awesome GTO of Mark Seamons and the recently completed Fiat 131 Abarth rally car of Nick Prieston. These vehicles have proven to be the best in their class for both construction and presentation. Many other notable teams send their vehicles to Melbourne Performance Centre for manufacture or repair.
From CAMS certified roll cage structures, full custom 304 stainless steel exhaust systems, a full range of Porsche exhaust products, custom brake upgrades through to any fabrication requirement.
Dyno Tuning
Melbourne Performance Centre has the latest Mainline AWD1500 all wheel drive dyno to enable all styles of vehicles to be professionally tuned. With software available for most performance local and imported vehicles, we can tune your vehicle to the best possible result.
If no software is available to retune your OEM ECU, we can recommend and install a suitable aftermarket ECU to suit your budget and application.
Engine Building and Development
Melbourne Performance Centre has a fully enclosed “clean room” for assembly of all our engine customers. Specialising in high performance race engines for a wide range of race classes. From methanol burning Speedway Sprint Cars through to turbo charged Nissan GTR’s, our many years of engine building experience will put you at the front of the grid.
Suspension and Vehicle Set Up
Melbourne Performance Centre can provide a full suspension set up to suit your type of racing. Set up services include suspension geometry, corner weights, shock absorber testing, spring and swaybar rates. With many years of experience and data on file, we can provide you with the ultimate suspension set up to transform you vehicle into a race winner.
General Vehicle Log Book Servicing
